I don't want to make it RRedline-specific. I would rather do it in a simpler API like Glide and use some of the techniques from the wrapper to make it work on RRedline too. It wouldn't have to lose much speed, if any, because I could optimise everything just for this engine. Also I wouldn't make it exactly like Glide, just a little more abstract... so I could port it to OpenGL or Direct3D too.
